Heatherjean MacNeil is the Global Director and Co-Founder of Babson’s WIN (Women Innovating Now) Lab, an eight-month venture accelerator program that supports women founders to launch and scale high-impact ventures. She is dedicated to closing the gender gap in growth capital and building a gender-balanced, entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Heatherjean is a serial entrepreneur and prior to her role at Babson she founded a women’s ethical fashion company, Proxy Apparel. As CEO of Proxy, Heatherjean built global partnerships with women cooperatives to produce fashion-forward, sustainable apparel and accessories sold to the U.S. market. As a business consultant Heatherjean has worked extensively with for-profit, non-profit, and governmental organizations to develop leadership training programs, launch business development initiatives, and design experiential market efforts aimed at raising brand awareness and driving revenue. Director, Angle Center for Entrepreneurship
Ms. Sartorelli is the Director of the Angle Center for Entrepreneurship at Endicott College, located in Massachusetts in the heart of the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Under her leadership, the Center focuses on helping educate students in entrepreneurship and leverages on-campus subject matter experts and Endicott alumni. Several successful entrepreneurs have chosen to join Endicott’s ecosystem, through advising students, serving as entrepreneurs-in-residence or housing their own start-ups in Endicott’s incubator space.
Deirdre is the author of an upcoming book commissioned by the U.S. State Department on global entrepreneurship. The book, published by Stratcomm, Inc. will be available in 2017 and distributed world-wide through U.S. embassies.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Salem State University, a Masters of Business Administration from Bentley University, and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from California Coast University. Currently she is enrolled in an Innovation and Entrepreneurship program at Stanford University. Active in public higher education in Massachusetts, Ms. Sartorelli served on the Board of Trustees at Salem State University both as a member and its chair. She currently serves on its Foundation. She was a senior executive in several technology companies including Verizon, Cisco and Avaya. Ms. Sartorelli was a partner in a small real estate business, New Ventures, LLC and also had her own consulting firm, Rogue Wave Advisors, LLC.
CI Works, is a senior business leader with extensive experience directing business development and growth utilizing proven management skills and by developing business relationships and partnerships with firms that can expedite growth. He has proven experience in program development, process re-engineering, full life-cycle global product management, business outsourcing, and team management skills.
Most recently, Bob and his partner moved the CleanTech Center, formerly a business incubator from Newburyport to Amesbury, MA and formed the CI Works_Amesbury. It is a 100,000+ square foot multi use facility in a one hundred year old mill building – a facility where businesses can go to grow – focused on product manufacturing. Previously, Bob was president of the Newburyport CleanTech Center and a founding director, instrumental in establishing leases with over twenty early stage companies in a shared space that has been instrumental in their success and have created hundreds of jobs in the CleanTech sector. In Amesbury since 2015, we have leased space to 50+ companies and located 175 jobs here.
Prior experience includes Fidelity Investments – Capital Business Development, Emerging Technologies, Enterprise Utilities, Retirement Services, and Global Institutional Investments; International Business Machines – Global Business Services; Financial Technologies Inc.; Point Management Group; Dun & Bradstreet; and State Street Bank. Bob held various positions in senior management roles including sales, client management, business development, partner development, marketing, enterprise utility development, and operations management.
Bob’s experience in the not for profit sector includes as an originating board member and president of the Newburyport Education Foundation, president of the Newburyport CleanTech Center, founding board member of Assoc. of Cleantech Incubators of New England (ACTION), and multiple terms on the Board of Directors at the Custom House Maritime Museum in Newburyport. Bob attended the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
